When the rain drives you indoors during your vacation to the Lake George Area, continue the fun at the Aviation Mall! Located in Queensbury, the Aviation Mall has a range of activities that everyone will enjoy while managing to stay dry.
Adirondack Axe
Aim for the bullseyes at Adirondack Axe, the northeast’s premier axe throwing venue. Learn the sport of axe throwing, an experience that will take you back in time to the Adirondack North Country’s golden years when the area was the heart of the logging industry. Take turns throwing real axes at wooden targets from 12 to 15 ft. away, or try out knife throwing while you’re there. Heads up – participants must be 10 years of age or older.
If axe throwing isn’t for you, maybe painting is? Inside the “paint room” at Adirondack Axe pick from 5 choices of paint (including neon blacklight colors) and create a 16x20 splatter-paint masterpiece.
Adirondack Axe is a great location to host your next birthday party, bachelor/bachelorette party, or another celebration while you’re in the area; they also have a mobile unit to bring axe throwing to you!
Bash It! Smash Room
Looking for a constructive way to release stress? We’ve all been there. When axe throwing and splattering paint aren’t doing the trick, head over to Bash It! Smash Room, Adirondack Axe’s second storefront located right next door within the Aviation Mall. This is an enclosed environment where people can relieve their frustrations in an alternative manner by destroying objects for fun and entertainment, widely known and generally referred to as a “rage room”. To get started, choose from one of three options: the Fast Bash 10-minute session with 15 glass items; the Open Bash 15-minute session with 20 glass items and 1 medium electronic/household item; or the “BYOS***” 15-minute session with a box of your own objects (see Bash It! Smash Room website for prohibited items). Take proper precaution by wearing closed toes shoes and long clothing to cover exposed skin. Now grab that bat, pick up that plate, and get to breaking some stuff!
Adirondack Zombie Hunters
Gear up with Adirondack Zombie Hunters LLC and get prepared for the zombie apocalypse. Choose from a selection of target shooting or zombie apocalypse scenarios and hone your marksmanship skills in a safe, fun, and immersive experience. Also a retail store, they have survival gear, novelty zombie merch, airsoft rigs, and much more.
Adirondack Zombie Hunters’ realistic simulators were originally designed for military and law enforcement trainings and require some accuracy and form, but ADKZH will give you a crash course in proper handling and stance before you begin. Defend yourself as swarms of gruesome zombies rush at you from every angle – will you survive the apocalypse?

Wow! Arcade is a family entertainment center with games for all ages including air hockey, pinball, and themed virtual reality games like the Terminator and Harley Davidson. Located near the food court, this smaller, unmanned arcade is open the same hours as the mall.
