This 95,000-square-foot facility brings cutting-edge entertainment to the Lake George Area, not only with their adrenaline-pumping go-kart tracks, but also with their wide variety of activities, including racing simulators, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, and more. Perhaps the best thing about ADK Karting, though, is that its indoor space means it's open year-round.
So, rain or snow, summer or winter, ADK Karting is ready to welcome visitors of all ages with an experience to be shared and enjoyed. Get ready to rev your engines and cruise on over to this unique family-friendly attraction.
What to Do at ADK Karting
Despite its name, there are multiple activities to enjoy at ADK Karting other than the go-karts— though that’s not to take away from how enjoyable they are themselves.
Here’s a good head start to what you can expect when walking through their doors.
Go Karting
The main attraction at ADK Karting is certainly their go-karting tracks—in fact, the tracks make up around 75% of the overall space of the venue. Made with the help of designers and manufacturers from England and Italy, these tracks were made to resemble professional racing courses as closely as possible.
The kid’s track can accommodate up to 6 racers at a time, with their karts able to go up to 20 MPH. Meanwhile, the adult tracks can have up to 13 racers, with their karts able to go up to a blazing 50 MPH. No matter which course you’re on, you’re sure to feel like a professional race car driver from start to finish.
Each race lasts around 8-10 minutes, allowing racers to complete several laps. Grab some friends and family for an exciting time on the race car track. Races can be booked either in person, or ahead of time on the ADK Karting website.

Racing Simulators
For even more exhilarating driving action, make sure to complete a race or two on the state-of-the-art racing simulators.
These ultra-realistic simulators feature steering wheels, pedals, and motion platforms, all with an up-close high-definition screen to have racers experience the thrills of real racing from the comforts of their seats.
Up to six people can compete in a simulation race—but not to worry. Those eagerly waiting can become an engaged spectator by viewing all the action on one of the above overview monitors. Fuel the trackside hype by cheering on your favorite racers.
Glow-In-The-Dark Mini Golf
Get ready to ‘power up’ your sense of nostalgia with a one-of-a-kind glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course.
This 18-hole course is themed after 80s video games. You’ll see references to beloved games and characters as you putt through colorfully creative twists and turns. The course is mostly open between holes, allowing for a social and competitive atmosphere.
While it may only take around 30-45 minutes to complete the entire course, what makes it truly unique is that once you pay the initial fee, you can replay it an unlimited amount of times for that day. In fact, this is the only unlimited golf course around.
Grab a group of players and relive the glory of the arcade era under neon lights.

Arcade
Fun for all ages, ADK Karting’s arcade is a combination of both classic and modern gaming entertainment. Nearly 50 arcade games are available for play—and the selection rotates monthly to keep the experience fresh and exciting with each visit.
Rather than using tokens, this arcade uses ‘pay-to-play’ cards that can be loaded with a value of your choice. Play games to win digital tickets, or points, on your card, which can then be exchanged for various prizes at the redemption counter.
Game cards are able to be reused and reloaded, so there’s no need to worry about depleting balance or prize points. Return trips mean opportunities to save up for your favorite prize, or to aim for that high score.

Getting Behind the Wheel
In seeking to learn more about one of the latest and greatest attractions to hit the Lake George Area, I had the opportunity to sit down and speak with the owner and founder of ADK Karting Experience, Jeremy Treadway, who was kind enough to share with me some valuable insights.
The idea behind ADK Karting was a long-term plan envisioned by Treadway, who is not only a local—living in the nearby town of Fort Ann, NY—but also a major racecar enthusiast. What really helped spark the development of the current facility were Treadway’s fond memories of browsing through Aviation Mall as a child.
Though malls have experienced ups and downs as a whole in recent decades, he saw great potential in providing year-round family-friendly entertainment to Aviation—as well as the Town of Queensbury—aiming to recapture that spirit of having a fun and cool place to hang out.
In a planning and construction process that took two years to complete, the once-empty space soon became a racecar lover’s paradise, filled with not only indoor tracks and simulators, but also other outlets for family fun.
With ADK Karting now in full swing, Treadway hopes for both locals and visitors of the area to come and enjoy all there is to do—as well as repeat visits if possible. In addition, he hopes his business may help inspire other entertainment opportunities within the mall.
As a local, Jeremy Treadway and his staff are huge supporters of the Lake George Area and what it has to offer, employing high school students from the various districts around, as well as aiming to partner with local businesses and hotels to offer attractions packages.
Pedal to the Mettle
Regardless of weather or season, ADK Karting Experience makes for a fun-tastic addition to any visit or vacation. From chasing laps in the electric carts to competing under the lights of the mini golf course.
When making the trip to the Lake George Area, make sure to head to the Aviation Mall in Queensbury for “Family Fun at Full Speed.”
When to Visit
ADK Karting is open Wednesday through Sunday throughout the year, setting the perfect activity venue for weekend getaways, afternoon visits, or even Friday night festivities.

Where to Park
Aviation Mall has plenty of available parking surrounding it. For the closest spots near ADK Karting entrances, make sure to look out for the lots in front of the mall—to the left of Target and Peter Harris Clothes.

*Special thanks to Jeremy Treadway for providing his insights and information used in this blog.
