No experience necessary, no skill required for admission to this one-of-a-kind institution of learning. Our instructors from around the country share their knowledge and craftsmanship, and inspire you with their enthusiasm.

Our year-round classes range from half-day sessions to multi-week courses. We offer subjects as diverse as Adirondack chair building, twig and rustic furniture, caning, and birch bark basketry.

We connect people with nature through fly tying, organic gardening, boat building, blacksmithing, and more.

In addition to our hands-on classes, we welcome you to enjoy Adirondack storytellers and musicians sharing the cultural heritage of the Adirondacks through demonstrations, lectures, special programs, and our fireside evening gatherings.

You can see their course calendar here.
