What to Pack
Before participating in any of the above events or activities, it’s important to make sure you’ve adequately prepared for whatever weather and/or environment you can expect to encounter.
Below are some helpful suggestions for packing for your Lake George Area trip during the month of May.
May – the Heart of Spring
A fair spring day usually yields moderate temperatures with the occasional breeze. Though this can vary quite a bit with either a rare chilly day, or a surprising sneak peek of the summer heat.
Make sure you’re prepared for any temperature with a light coat or two just in case. A heavy sweatshirt and sweatpants are highly recommended for those cool morning or late-night adventures.
Though not typically as rainy as April, May could still bring some steady showers, so make sure you pack a rain coat or poncho, as well as an umbrella.
