Mountain View offers a handful of unique guided trail ride experiences with varying lengths. Their guides make it easy for novice riders to learn the ropes, or should we say reins, on their hand-led junior rides (walk-in only) and popular one-hour trail rides (reservation required) looping through shaded woods.

More experienced riders and thrill seekers should make a reservation for their two-hour Mountain Ride or Sunset Dinner Ride that climbs Beech Mountain with breathtaking views of the Lake George Area as far as the eye can see. On the Sunset Dinner Ride, you’ll be treated to a full-course dinner prepared right at the summit including appetizers, bread and butter, tossed salad, baked potato, and your choice of steak, salmon, or chicken, and dessert.
Rise and shine with the Good Mornin’ Breakfast Ride. If you’re a morning person this one’s for you! After a ride through the woods at daybreak to bridge over a mountain stream, enjoy a breakfast spread of scrambled eggs, ham, biscuits, fruit, juice, and coffee.

Mountain View Rocking B Ranch is located at 84 Gage Hill Road in the quiet hamlet of Lake Vanare in Lake Luzerne, just a 10-minute drive from the Village of Lake George. Minimum age for one-hour trail rides and Good Mornin’ Breakfast Rides is 9+, and 12+ for Sunset Dinner Rides; helmets are available and required for ages 17 and under.
