Lively Oktoberfest celebrations can be found in September and October throughout the Lake George Area. From downtown block parties to local craft breweries, fall in the Lake George Area is covered in beer.

Lake George Village Oktoberfest

Witness the heart of Lake George village transform into a Bavarian-style street fair! Taking place on Lake George's popular Canada Street, this annual event is FREE to attend and provides a plethora of traditional German dishes such as bratwurst, knackwurst, potato pancakes, and more. Local hotspot Adirondack Pub & Brewery will also be supplying their handcrafted German-inspired ales and lagers.

 

There are tons of activities to partake in, from keg tossing and stein hoisting to local artisan vendors and carnival rides. This family-friendly event is one you won't want to miss!

Adirondack Brewery's Oktoberfest

Location: Adirondack Pub & Brewery

Make sure you come hungry—and thirsty—for Adirondack Pub & Brewery's 20th annual Oktoberfest. Alongside their own Bier Garden is a selection of New York State guest breweries that'll satisfy your taste buds, paired perfectly with authentic German dishes.

 

Participate in an assortment of games and activities such as keg tossing, cornhole, a costume contest—complete with prizes—and more. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local charity. Enjoy a day full of all things Oktoberfest with the beautiful Adirondack fall foliage as your backdrop.

Oktoberfest Food Festival at the Great Escape

Location: Great Escape & Hurricane Harbor

Located at the Fest Area of this renowned theme park, guests can enjoy craft & seasonal brews, live music and entertainment, and festive foods that embody the spirit of Oktoberfest.

Glens Falls Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest Steamboat Cruises

Location: Lake George Steamboat Company

Dinner Cruise: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

 

Embrace the spirit of Oktoberfest with a unique experience in the form of a festive cruise on the waters of Lake George.

 

For one day only, the Lake George Steamboat Company is proud to present special Oktoberfest cruises on their majestic Lac du Saint Sacrement ship. There are both luncheon and dinner variants, with a full buffet of authentic German cuisine, including wiener schnitzel, knockwurst, sauerkraut, braised red cabbage, and even German chocolate cake for dessert.

 

Each cruise is a two-hour voyage, and along with the food and scenic atmosphere, the journey will be complemented with live music from Fritz's Polka Band.
