Parades, live music, and more – here is a list of all the Memorial Day celebrations around the Lake George Area honoring those who have served our country:
Hague Memorial Day Celebration (Parade & Funfest)
Join the Town of Hague for their 21st annual Memorial Day Celebration on Saturday, May 25 kicking off at 10 a.m.
The parade will start at 2 p.m. and proceed along Route 8 to the Hague Town Park. Watch and wave as clowns, bands, classic cars, floats, and Grand Marshal Patricia Hintze drives by. Prizes will be awarded for Best in Parade, Most Humorous, Most Creative, Most Patriotic, Best Adirondack, and more.
Family fun in the park includes a bouncy house, caricature artist, live music, and Penelope the Clown. Craft and jewelry vendors will be set up in addition to the Senior Citizens Club’s White Elephant Sale. Grab a hot dog or hamburger grilled up by the Hague Fish & Game Club.

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Funfest at Hague Town Park

10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Phil Singer, Caricature Artist
12:30 p.m.: Cambridge Band Live Concert

Lake George
Join the Gold Star Mothers and Lake George American Legion for their Memorial Day Celebration in the Village including a patriotic parade route on Saturday, May 25 from Westbrook Road, down Beach Road, and onto Canada Street, ending at the memorial in Shepard Park. The parade steps off at 11:30 a.m.
North Warren Memorial Day Parade
Come together with the communities of Chestertown, Pottersville, and Brant Lake for the North Warren Memorial Day Parade on May 27. The parade route begins at the Old Middle School/Word of Life parking lot in Pottersville and ends at the Pottersville Firehouse. Time TBA.
Glens Falls & Queensbury Memorial Day Parade
Attend the Glens Falls and Queensbury Memorial Day Parade. The parade will proceed north on Glen Street from Maple Street to Crandall Park at 10 a.m. on May 27. The remembrance ceremony will be held in front of the Peace and Victory Monument, with special veterans to be honored.
Stony Creek
Observe Memorial Day with a parade and service in Stony Creek on May 27 at 3 p.m. The parade lineup starts at the Town Hall and will end at the Town Memorial in the Stony Creek Town Park with refreshments available at the Town Hall following the parade and service.
Lake Luzerne/Hadley
Lake Luzerne and Hadley will come together for their Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27. The parade will step off at 10:45 a.m. from the four corners in Hadley and proceed across the Bridge of Hope, ending at Luzerne Cemetery across from the William J. Varney American Legion Post #862. Following the parade there will be refreshments for all.
Bolton Landing
Come wave your American flag on May 27 to support our military heroes at the Bolton Landing Memorial Day Parade. Step off is at 10 a.m. and the route follows Lake Shore Drive from Rogers Memorial Park, past the Veterans’ Memorial, stopping at Veteran’s Memorial Park for a ceremony, music, food, and fun.
Warrensburg
Warrensburg is honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country with a patriotic parade on May 27. The parade will line up at 9 a.m. at the Warrensburg Volunteer Fire Company with a route to the St. Cecilia’s/Warrensburg Cemetery.
Johnsburg/North Creek
Date & Step Off Time TBA
Join the Johnsburg Central School District for a patriotic Memorial Day Parade. The parade steps off from the school on Main Street and the route will conclude at the Veteran’s Monument.

Memorial Meltdown
Jam out this Memorial Day weekend in Charles R. Wood Park. Enjoy two nights of tunes at Memorial Meltdown in Lake George on May 25 and May 26 starting at 2:30 p.m.

Warrensburg Bike Rally
Let the motorcycle festivities begin with the Warrensburg Bike Rally on May 28. Join in the 22nd anniversary celebrations with 8 days of riding on exhilarating roads through the spectacular scenery of the Lake George Area. Make a pit stop at the Warren County Fairgrounds for vendors, deals on equipment & gear, food, and more. Shows run daily from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., while admission to the fairgrounds, parking around Warrensburg, and participation in the rally is absolutely free!
