Free Weekly Summer Concert Series 

Wherever you go in the Lake George Area, on warm summer nights you’re likely to find live music emanating from one end of the region to the other. Pack your lawn chairs, a snack, and join friends and family for a live musical experience to be enjoyed by all!

Lake George

Musical Mondays, Mondays

Matt Donnelly and Susie Q take over during Musical Mondays at Shepard Park the month of July. Don’t forget your dancing shoes for this perfect blend of a DJ set and “live” entertainment.

Tuesday Tribute Concert Series, Tuesdays 

Singalong along to some of your favorite throwback songs at the Tuesday Tribute Concert Series led by Jonathan Newell in Shepard Park. A classical pianist, composer, rock guitarist, bassist, singer and Impresario, Jonathan Newell's lineup focuses on music from the 1960s to 1990s.

Lake George Arts Project Summer Concert Series, Wednesdays 

The Lake George Arts Project Summer Concert Series presents a diverse mix of musicians on stage at the Shepard Park amphitheater. Come back every Wednesday evening to be entertained by Americana, Blues, Bluegrass, Caribbean Dance Beats, Folk, Jazz, Rock, Reggae, and everything in between.

Thursday Night Community Band Concerts, Thursdays 

Take in the sweet notes of the Lake George Community Band Concerts with a backdrop of the lake every Thursday night from the lawn at Shepard Park. Enjoy musical selections from movies and Broadway shows, as well as some patriotic tunes to accompany the Thursday Night Fireworks.

Fireworks Information: Lake George Thursday Night Fireworks is a completely free and recurring event kicking off on July 10 and beginning promptly at 9:30 p.m. every Thursday night during the summer season. 

Fridays at the Lake Bands & Brews Concert Series, Fridays

Kick off your weekend the right way with some live music on the shores of Lake George at the Fridays at the Lake Concert Series in Shepard Park. Fridays in July and August are an extravaganza of live music that will have you on your feet, while wine, beer, and food vendors will entice you to take a seat. These concerts are also both pet-friendly and kid-friendly, with children’s activities including a bounce house, face painting, and more.

City of Glens Falls

Glens Falls City Band/Jazz Band, Mondays 

Glens Falls City Park is a beautiful setting for this free summer concert series. The City Band will take the gazebo on the first four Mondays, and the Jazz Band will follow for the last four – a total of eight amazing Monday night concerts in the heart of downtown. If you’ve booked a stay at the chic Queensbury Hotel, the musical notes emanating from directly across the street will lure you over. Just don’t forget your lawn chair!

The City of Glens Falls also hosts a free outdoor cinema at City Park during the summer season. Opening night is July 11, and all showtimes are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Park Theater Summer Concert Series at Crandall Park, Fridays 

You don’t want to miss this Summer Concert Series! The Park Theater hosts this annual free outdoor summer concert series live from the Crandall Park Bandshell on Fridays. On-site food trucks will rotate throughout this series.

Concerts in the Park, Mondays

Live music kickstarts the week on Monday evenings in the charming town of Thurman at Veteran’s Memorial Field behind the Thurman Town Hall. The Concerts in the Park lineup features a little bit of everything: country, bluegrass, folk, gospel, blues, jazz, rockabilly, and more. There is sure to be a concert for every musical taste.

Music in the Park, Tuesdays

Nestled in the mountains, Stony Creek is a peaceful spot to take in live music. Enjoy up-and-coming and well-known musical acts from around the area at the Music in the Park concert series every Tuesday night at the Stony Creek Town Park – rain or shine! The park has a basketball court, softball field, playgrounds, picnic tables, and grills and offers the perfect opportunity to bring family and friends for a cookout with a great live soundtrack.

Free concerts in Bolton Landing all summer long – sign us up! Follow up a day at the beach with a free concert on Tuesday nights. This Summer Concert Series is held at Rogers Memorial Park, a great location which offers up plenty of recreation opportunities, gorgeous lake views, and is in close proximity to the shops and restaurants of Bolton Landing.

Food Trucks and Music, Wednesdays

Need some good food and new tunes to get you through the rest of the week? Head to Lake Luzerne’s Food Trucks and Music event. Only a 10-minute drive from the Lake George Village, you can sample food truck fare like tacos, fish and chicken sandwiches, gourmet mac and cheese, lemonade, donuts, and more on Wednesday evenings. Also enjoy live music at this event that takes place in Benjamin C. Butler Pavilion Park, overlooking the town’s serene namesake. We hope to see you there!

Rock out to Rockabilly, Bluegrass, and more at the Warrensburg Summer Band Concerts. This free summer concert series is held at the town’s Recreation Field on Library Avenue every Wednesday this the summer. Grab a burger and pint around at George Henry’s around the corner and make a night of it!

Music in the Park, Wednesdays

Music in the Park on Wednesdays is the highlight of summer for visitors and locals alike with one of the North Country’s best summer concert line ups. Held at the peaceful Hague Town Beach Park in the northernmost portion of the Lake George Area, this event is free to attend and features live music plus a variety of food truck fare – so come hungry! If you’re camping at Rogers Rock, you’ll definitely want to check this out!

Food Truck Fridays on the Pond, Fridays 

The Town of Horicon presents Food Truck Fridays on the Pond, a weekly roundup of food trucks and vendors in the parking lot of the Town of Horicon Community Center. Make a trip to Brant Lake every Friday, and get the weekend started by filling up on a variety of food truck fare from new and returning vendors while sipping refreshing beverages and jamming out to live local music on the banks of Mill Pond.

North Creek

Music by the River, Saturdays 

Music by the River is on for 2025! This free summer concert series in scenic Riverfront Park, past the North Creek Depot Museum, happens during only a handful of Saturdays and you don’t want to miss it. Come early or stay after the show to take a stroll along Main Street and have a pleasant meal at one of North Creek’s trendy restaurants.
