Friday, August 30

Adirondack Independence Music Festival

You’re invited to Lake George’s biggest party of the year! The Adirondack Independence Music Festival is a three-day, multi-band event from Aug. 30  to Sept. 1 at the Festival Commons. Rock out to tunes from premier touring bands currently hot on the circuit. Gates open at 12 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday with music playing all day long from two side-by-side stages until 11 p.m. both nights. Food Truck Fridays on the Pond

Head over to the Horicon Community Center for the season’s last Food Truck Fridays on the Pond in Brant Lake. Starting at 5 p.m., enjoy some local live music, while snacking on tasty fare from a variety of new and returning food truck vendors and gazing up at an amazing fireworks display!

Fridays at the Lake Concert Series

Kick off the weekend’s festivities with some live music on the shores of Lake George at the free Fridays at the Lake Bands & Brews Concert Series. A local band will take center stage for this last concert of the 2024 series starting at 6 p.m. in Shepard Park in the Lake George Village. These concerts are kid-friendly and pet-friendly as well.

Lake George Triathlon Festival

Are you up for the challenge? Enjoy some friendly competition while you swim, bike, and run on the shores of Lake George. The Lake George Triathlon Festival is taking place all weekend long – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Battlefield Park and Lake George Beach (Million Dollar). Beach. Lake George Steamboat Company Fireworks Cruises

All aboard the Minne Ha-Ha and the Lac du Saint Sacrement! The Lake George Steamboat Company will be running specialty cruises to view the celebratory Labor Day fireworks. This is your chance to snag some of the best seats for a cruise in the southern basin and spectacular fireworks show.
