The Lake George Area has an abundance of food festivals taking place throughout the year in which restaurants exhibit their variety of cuisines, while chefs show off their culinary talents and innovative recipes. Sample and shop award-winning artisan foods, craft beverages, and organically-grown produce. One of the best ways to experience the Lake George Area is to eat like the locals!

The weekend starts early at The Shirt Factory’s block party! Join the crowd at the Thursday Market & Food Truck Corral for delicious food and craft beverages from a rotating list of regional food trucks and chefs who serve up both familiar and ethnic dishes for everyone’s taste buds. Head inside The Shirt Factory to shop handmade and carefully curated household goods from local boutiques. Children’s activities include games, a bouncy house, and a petting zoo.

Rhubarb Festival

Date: June 7

Kicking off the summer events for the Warrensburgh Riverfront Famers’ Market is the Rhubarb Festival, a community supported agricultural event on the banks of the scenic Schroon River. Rhubarb growers can sell their stalks, while attendees sample, shop, collect recipes, and learn all about the vegetable. Other local businesses and vendors who offer rhubarb flavored spirits, baked goods, artisan foods, and more will also be at the event. Entertainment includes kids’ activities, craft demonstrations, educational exhibits, and live local music. The key ingredient to making a deliciously tart pie or jam is locally grown rhubarb!


Strawberry Festival

Date: June 21

Time: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Location: Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market

Cost: Free to Attend

Shortcakes, jams, and more – juicy strawberries will be the talk of the town! During the height of their picking season, you’ll be able to shop the best selection of organically grown berries during the Strawberry Festival at the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market. Try and take home prepared foods and craft beverages having repurposed the sweet, strawberry flavor that is the essence of summer. Entertainment includes kids’ activities, craft demonstrations, educational exhibits, and live local music.


Adirondack Wine & Food Festival

Dates & Times:

“Take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey as you are introduced to a variety of New York’s best wineries, craft beverage makers, artisan food vendors, food trucks, and more, with the beauty of Lake George as your backdrop!”

Attendees will receive a 8th annual Adirondack Wine & Food Festival commemorative wine glass to be used throughout the event to sample craft beverages. Presented by Adirondack Winery, this designated NY Farmer’s Market offers the perfect opportunity to try before you buy. In addition, the Festival’s Culinary Tent will showcase demonstrations from local celebrity chefs and bartenders utilizing their own recipes and products, as well as products available from vendors.

The popular “Food Truck Alley” will return along Westbrook Road.

A family-friendly festival, live entertainment includes an aerialist, street magician, acoustic musicians, and kids activity tent.

Food Truck Fridays on the Pond

The Town of Horicon presents Food Truck Fridays on the Pond, a weekly roundup of food trucks and vendors. Make a trip to Brant Lake every Friday and fill up on a diverse selection of delicious food while sipping refreshing beverages by picturesque Mill Pond. Order your go-to, or mix flavors from different vendors. Jam out to live local music by the Acoustic Stage in front of Town Hall. We hope to see you there!


Take A Bite

Sample the tastes of Hometown USA at this month-long food festival during the height of summer in the Lake George Area. During Take A Bite, participating restaurants in downtown Glens Falls offer “small plates” on Wednesday nights to guests enjoying live music and entertainment as they stroll along on Ridge and Glen Street.

Hague Music in the Park

Hague Music in the Park is a weekly Wednesday concert series that features not only one of the North Country’s best summer lineups, but also some of the North Country’s best food trucks. Held in the quiet and picturesque Town of Hague and along the shores of Lake George. After chowing down, get up on your feet for some blues, rock, folk, and country tunes that you can dance to.

Lake Luzerne Food Trucks & Music

Location: Benjamin C. Butler Pavilion Park

Lake Luzerne presents their inaugural Food Trucks and Music event on Wednesdays evenings. Benjamin C. Butler Pavilion Park is the perfect spot to enjoy good food, good tunes, and good company. Bringing the community together, this event will feature a diverse selection of food truck fare from tacos, fish and chicken sandwiches, and gourmet mac and cheese, to lemonade, donuts, and other sweet treats. Get front row seats to the sets of local bands by remembering to bring your lawn chair or blanket. It’s going to be an extravaganza!

Blueberry Festival

Blueberry season is in full swing during the month of July! The Blueberry Festival at Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market celebrates these sweet – and sometimes tart – berries, picked fresh from the fields. Learn how to grow your own blueberries with tips from the experts, or sample and shop organically grown berries picked early and late in the season. Local farms and businesses will be selling preserves, baked goods, artisan cheeses, and distilled beverages enhanced with the fruit’s flavor. Entertainment includes kids’ activities, craft demonstrations, educational exhibits, and live local music.


Smoke Eaters Jamboree

Celebrate six decades of classic summertime fun at the Smoke Eaters Jamboree brought to you by the Warrensburg Volunteer Fire Company. Friday features carnival games, rides, and entertainment, including clowns and magicians. While Saturday’s events kick-off with the highlight of the jamboree – the famous, mouthwatering chicken BBQ. Skeeter Creek rocking the stage and a booming fireworks show close out this family-friendly festival!
