Second AND Fourth of July Celebration! - July 2 & 4
There’s no better place to celebrate this holiday than the Fort William Henry Museum! Two nights, two parties that include make/take crafts, games, live demonstrations, food, and fire pits to keep you entertained, until fireworks light up the sky over Lake George at 9:30 p.m.
Summer Pops Concert – July 3
The Glens Falls Symphony presents its popular, family-friendly Independence Day celebration at Crandall Park! Summer Pops Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. with fireworks at dusk.
Hague Independence Day Celebration – July 3
The pre-show to the Town of Hague’s Music in the Park Concert Series lineup is Hague's 3rd of July celebration. Music from the Barkeater Band starts at 6:30 p.m. while fireworks blast off at 9:15 p.m.
America 250 Weekend in Johnsburg – July 3, 4, & 5
Celebrate America’s birthday in the The Town of Johnsburg! America 250 Weekend kicks off with live music, a chicken BBQ, historical reenactments, fireworks, and an after-party on Friday. Saturday includes a color run & walk at Ski Bowl Park, cookout & DJ at The Station, cornhole tournament, and “1776” film showing/talk at Tannery Pond Center. Sunday rounds out the party with a patriotic parade down Main Street and more!
July 4th Fireworks in Lake George Village – July 4
Spend the 4th in the Village of Lake George and enjoy the fireworks display over the lake from almost anywhere. You won’t be able to stop oohing and aahing during this impressive show that kicks off at 9:30 p.m.
Bolton Landing Fourth of July Celebration – July 4
Head to Bolton Landing for an all-day Fourth of July extravaganza beginning at 11 a.m. – live music, magic, and fireworks! Roger’s Memorial Park is the place to be for festivities, including spectacular fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Lake George Steamboat Company Fourth of July Fireworks Cruises – July 4
**July 3rd and 5th cruises may be added upon demand.
Climb aboard one of three iconic Lake George Steamboat Company’s ships for an experience like no other during these Fireworks Cruises. Watch sparklers light up the sky over Lake George from on the water this Independence Day weekend.
Lake George Waterfront Cruises’ Fireworks Cruises – July 4
**While the Adirondac is being rebuilt, all cruises will take place aboard the Horicon.
Watch the show from the best seats in the house, aboard the Horicon, during a Fireworks Cruise. Lake George Waterfront Cruises offers front row viewing of the excitement from this historic vessel even after the holiday weekend.
Summerfest – July 11
Your 4th of July celebrations do not have to end on the 5th of July! Keep the party going with mud DJ, food trucks, vendors, and lawn games, plus Chestertown’s glorious fireworks display at dusk!

Celebrate all things U.S.A. with the return of the High Dive Show at Great Escape & Hurricane Harbor. Suspenseful dives will have you on the edge of your seat, only to get soaked by large splashes, while the comedic timing keeps the laughter flowing too!
Adirondack Theatre Festival - July 3
Your last opportunity to see Trapped during Adirondack Theatre Festival! This is closing night for this solo cabaret comedy about travel misadventure, written and staring Glens Falls native Trevor Strader.
Food Truck Fridays on the Pond - July 3
The place to be on summer Fridays for some delicious food truck fare. Don't worry about the fixings for a 4th of July BBQ, Food Truck Fridays on the Pond will have a selection to satisfy. And, they've even got the entertainment covered too!
Fridays at the Lake - July 3
Commence your 4th of July festivities by rocking out! Fridays at the Lake is a weekly Friday night concert series in Shepard Park. The community gathers for a great lineup of local bands, along with a kid-friendly and pet-friendly experience!
Reading of the Declaration of Independence - July 3, 4, & 5
Gather round to hear a special Reading of the Declaration of Independence, as it was adopted in 1776. Hey, history buffs! This event takes place at the Fort William Henry Museum, offering the perfect opportunity to learn about some earlier artifacts on a guided tour.
Benjamin Franklin Was Here, 1776 - July 3, 4, & 5
In honor of the 250th, this Chapman Museum exhibit is about Benjamin Franklin's trip north to Montreal in 1776, as he garnered support for the new nation before signing the Declaration of Independence – including a one night stay in Glens Falls!
Reading of the Declaration of Independence by “Joseph Warren” - July 4
As our nation turns 250 years old, the namesake of Warren County will pay a special visit to Warren County Municipal Center for a reading of the Declaration of Independence at 9 a.m.
Glens Falls Dragons Baseball Home Game – July 4 & 5
Enjoy America’s pastime during America’s birthday weekend! The Glens Falls Dragons will be hosting the Amsterdam Mohawks on July 4 and the Oneonta Outlaws on July 5. The games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Kids, make sure to bring your glove – you might catch a foul ball!
