The spectacular 100-mile view from the 2,030' summit of Prospect Mountain can be accessed by driving the 5.5-mile winding road. A beautiful 2-lane highway leads to a parking lot at the summit. There are three overlooks, offering picturesque views of The Narrows, Lake George, and The Eagle's Eye. Beautiful views of Vermont's Green Mountains, New Hampshire's White Mountains, New York's Adirondack High Peaks and Laurentian Mountains of Canada can be seen.
**Fees are not being charged for the remainder of the 2022 season, as the shuttle is no longer running. If you require assistance to access the summit, please stop at the DEC station.
