Halfway Brook Trail

This meticulously planned collaboration between Glens Falls and Queensbury opens the beautiful watershed lands spread out between Potter and Peggy Ann Roads. The 1.2-mile path meanders through “Potter Woods” taking the visitor through the diverse ecosystems of wetlands and woodlands, as well as an active tree farm. A hand-built bridge carries you over the trail’s namesake and onto the path ahead. Ideally situated to pair beautifully with a walk or ride along the connecting Rush Pond Trail, visitors are able to immerse themselves in our pristine forests and waterways tucked away and hidden behind the manicured lawns of family neighborhoods. Trail head parking lots at the Potter Road and Peggy Ann Road entrances.
