Anthony's Nose Preserve offers spectacular views of Rogers' Rock to the north and sweeping views of Lake George looking south. This 0.9-mile trail is a moderate climb to a 1,265 ft summit. Follow the clearly marked blue trail. The summit trail will take you to the Rogers' Rock outlook, looking north and west. A herd path off the main trail to the south takes you to a large, open ledge that's perfect for a picnic lunch, with magnificent views of the lake as your backdrop, east side trails and Black Mountain in the distant south.
Note: The cliffs are a regular breeding location for peregrine falcons. Watch the spectacular sight of this soaring bird, but please do not disturb the falcons.
Location: Schwerdtfeger Rd., Putnam Station, NY 12861
