Make the drive to exit 24 off I-87 in Bolton. Venture to the public fishing areas dotting each side of the Schroon River, a classic Adirondack river, its cool, swift waters teeming with all varieties of trout, as well as some smallmouth bass and perch. Be aware of the water levels here as they can vary greatly with the weather.
