Channel your inner Adirondack lumberjack self at Stony Creek Mountain Days!

The town of Stony Creek welcomes visitors from far and wide to Stony Creek Mountain Days, an Adirondack festival jam-packed with family fun. This three day event is highlighted by the New York State Lumberjack Competitions. The festival also includes live music, arts & crafts, children's activities, mouth-watering foods, a town-wide garage sale, local and regional vendors, and more!

Friday - August 3

Stony Creek Mountain Days kicks off at 6:30 p.m.

  • The Atomic Rhythm Ranchers start Stony Creek Mountain Days off right with a concert the town park pavilion. Don't forget your dancing shoes!
  • The Stony Creek Fire Department will host a food booth on the field. Make sure you're hungry!
Saturday - August 4

Saturday at Stony Creek Mountain Days is full of Adirondack fun!

  • The Town Wide Garage Sale runs from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Locator maps can be picked up throughout town. Look for the bright yellow signs!
  • The festival opens at 11:30 a.m. on the town field. Explore an interactive Norseland encampment, demonstrations of weaponry, cooking, crafts, and music.
  • The brand new Car Show will feature a collection of all makes and models. Trophies will be awarded, there is a 50/50 raffle, music, food, and more!
  • The Scavenger Hunt sends you on a quest to collect letters to spell the secret word! Turn them in at the Stony Creek Chamber info booth. The prize drawing takes place at 5 p.m. and you MUST be present to win.
  • Local and regional vendors include a book sale, hand-crafted soaps, handmade jewelry, handmade knives, maple products, and much more.
  • Stony Creek Mountain Days is great for kids! Watch Chicken Little, presented by Bright Star Touring Theatre. Farm animals join Chicken Little when an unknown object falls and Chicken Little gets bonked on the head. There is some confusion until the animals figure out the problem using a little critical thinking. The performances take place at 12:30 p.m.
  • Bright Star Touring Theatre also presents Alice in Wonderland This two-person, 45 minute presentation is the story of Alice's journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland. Performances take place at 2:00 p.m.
  • Bright Star Touring Theatre will perform American Songbook, a celebration of of American history through a timeline of music. Performances take place at 3:30 p.m.
  • Experience the Wizard Show with Wandmaster Titus Grondahl. You become his apprentice as he teaches you to create a one-of-a-kind wooden wand.
  • Living World Ecology and Dean Davis bring live reptiles to the festival!
  • Look for creepy crawlies with Warren County Soil and Water staff.
  • Hop into the free photo booth and take hilarious photos of you, family, and friends!
  • All kid's activities are free! Don't forget to jump around the bounce house, play the free games, and more presented by the Stony Creek Community Church.
  • Food on the field by the Stony Creek Free Library, Stony Creek Volunteer Fire Department, and Mr. Ding-a-Ling Ice Cream.
  • Rock along with Aaron Nason & the South Street Saints as they play the best pop, rock, and country beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the town pavilion.
Sunday - August 5

Sunday at Stony Creek Mountain Days with the New York State Lumberjack Competitions
