Swim, bike, and run on the shores of beautiful Lake George! Are you up for the challenge?

The Lake George Triathlon Festival is a fun and competitive weekend on the shores of Lake George. Competitors can compete in the Olympic Distance Race, the Big George Half-Iron Distance Race, and the King George Olympic and Half-Iron Race.

The races begin on Saturday morning at 7 a.m. sharp at Lake George Battlefield Park. The fun starts with the Olympic Distance Race, which has taken place each year for over ten years. The Olympic Distance Race is a  0.9 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike and 6.2 mile run.

On Sunday morning the Big George Half-Iron Distance Race takes place beginning at 6:45 a.m. The Big George is a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run.

The King George is for those who want to take this triathlon thing to the next level. Those crazy enough to run both the Olympic Distance Race on Saturday and the Big George Half-Iron Distance Race on Sunday are considered King George racers. Prince George racers compete in the Olympic on Saturday and the Aquabike (swim & bike only) on Sunday!
