Stay tuned for details on Lake George Jazz Weekend in 2021

Listen to world-class jazz musicians perform on the shores of Lake George!

Below is how this event took place in 2020.

Through many conversations, and with the input of artists, stakeholders and the audience, the Lake George Arts Project Staff and Board of Directors have made the unprecedented decision to cancel our traditional Jazz at the Lake program for this year.  We are instead presenting a series of virtual events we are calling Jazz at the Lake Reimagined that will stream renown Jazz musicians straight to your living room.

Jazz at the Lake Reimagined Virtual Series Schedule:

  • September 3 at 7pm - Nicole Zuraitis & Dan Pugach
  • September 10 at 7pm - Frederick Johnson & Michael Ross
  • September 17 at 7pm - Dan Tepfer
  • September 24, at 7pm - Sarah Elizabeth Charles

Below is what you could expect for a physical Jazz at the Lake event. We hope to bring it back in 2021!

Jazz at the Lake combines spectacular jazz with the magical beauty of Lake George. Hosted by the Lake George Arts Project for over 35 years this contemporary jazz festival includes performances by some of the most talented jazz musicians in the world. They entertain for two days at the Shepard Park Amphitheater, a stunning lakeside venue in the Village of Lake George.

This completely free event begins on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm and includes a special Saturday evening performance at 7:30 pm. The music begins on Sunday at 1pm.

Pack a picnic lunch, bring a blanket or folding chair, and kick back and enjoy the wonderful music these talented performers create.
