You can join in the fun of the Holiday House Contest! Registration will be open from November 20- December 4. Click here for details.
Santa Claus will parade through town starting at 6:00pm Friday, December 4th! You can click here for Santa's Parade Route. Santa might just go right by your house, so be sure to keep an eye out! If your street isn't on Santa's route, check the map for another place to wave to Santa!
You can also watch the virtual tree lighting on the Downtown Glens Falls Facebook page on Friday, December 4th. It'll feature special guests Mayor Dan Hall and Santa Claus, along with angels, elves, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, his friend Clarice and Sax-o-Claus.
In front of Glens Falls City Hall there'll be a mailbox for letters to Santa. Families are encouraged to drop their letters off so they can be delivered to Santa at the North pole!

Celebrate the start of the holiday season in downtown Glens Falls. Kids and families of all ages will love Hometown Holidays. All events are free!
Friday night will be the annual Tree Lighting in City Park, the arrival of none other then Santa Claus himself, Carols by The Glens Falls Community Theater, Horse and Wagon Rides, Sax-o-claus, Carols at The First Presbyterian Church, and so much more!
Downtown shops will be open and full of great holiday gift ideas! In the past we've had a Window Display competition among downtown businesses, with people voting for a People's Choice Winner.
