Harry Elkes Ride

It’s the 10th Annual Harry Elkes Ride! Enjoy riding around the scenic Southern Adirondack countryside on quiet North Country roads.
Everyone is welcome! The day is for bicyclists of all levels of expertise.
Try your hand at the 50, 32, 18 or 15 mile races! The ride celebrates Harry Elkes of Glens Falls a world-class champion cyclist at the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
- 50 Mile at 9:30am: For more-experienced cyclists – a challenging loop around beautiful Schroon Lake. Hilly terrain on the quiet, wooded east side. After a rest stop at the famous Adirondack Store; finish along scenic Brant Lake.
- 32 Mile at 9:30am: An unforgettable scenic ride for intermediate cyclists along shores of Loon, Schroon, & Brant Lakes. Watch for some rough road on Beaver Pond Road.
- 15 Mile at 10:00am: Casual cyclists and families enjoy a gently rolling Palisades Road ride along shore of scenic Brant Lake.
- NEW! 18 Mile at 10:00am: “Gravel Loop” 6 miles of gravel, brief 10% grades
Online registration deadline is September 8 at 500pm.
