The Glens Falls Symphony, under the direction of Maestro Charles Peltz, presents an entertaining afternoon of music featuring the opening performance of Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalm.
The Grand Finale of the season is Beethoven's Ode to Joy in his well-loved Symphony No 9.
The Glens Falls Symphony began in 1977 as a community orchestra at the then - Adirondack Community College (SUNY Adirondack). The Symphony is a member of the American Federation of Musicians. The Glens Falls Symphony is proud to reside in the smallest city in America to support a fully professional symphony. For over four decades concert-goers have enjoyed the Symphony seasons of five concert performances.
