Take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey!
The 5th annual Adirondack Wine & Food Festival in Lake George showcases over 120 of New York's best wineries, breweries, distilleries, artisan food vendors, crafts, and food trucks the region has to offer, with the beauty of Lake George as the backdrop.
Who Will Be There:
New York State craft wines and beverages are the centerpiece of the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival. Some of the fine businesses on hand at the festival include Adirondack Winery, the Lake George Distilling Company, Springbrook Hollow Farm Distillery, Adirondack Brewery, the Lake George Brew House, Mean Max Brew Works, Nettle Meadow, Hidden Hollow Maple Farm, and many more.
The tastings don't stop at wine, liquor, and beer. At this try-before-you-buy, farmers market style event, sample chocolate, cheese, maple products, ice cream, hot sauce, slushies, jerky, olive oil, mustard, rubs, fudge, cookies, crackers, and more.
What to Expect:
Samples & Tastings
You’ll receive a commemorative wine glass to be used throughout the event to sample craft beverages! As a designated NY Farmer’s Market, the Festival offers the perfect opportunity to try before you buy. Each of our craft beverage and artisan food makers will offer complimentary samples of their products. So whether it’s your new-found favorite bottle of chardonnay, cheddar cheese, or chocolate fudge, each vendor will have their products available for you to purchase and take home with you -- made even easier if you utilize our popular, FREE, Purchase Drop-Off/Pick-Up service!
In the Culinary Tent there are cooking demonstrations performed by Finger Lakes Celebrity Chef William Cornelius and special guests all weekend long. The chef prepares his proprietary sauces, as well as local foods and craft beverages in his recipes from our vendors. He'll also offer wine and beer pairing suggestions. Our local bartenders demonstrate unique Wine Cocktail recipes mixing new concoctions from wines and liquors available for purchase.
The Adirondack Wine & Food Festival is family friendly. We have a Kids Activity Tent, a state-of-the art natural playground, and a skateboard park located just outside the Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park grounds. The festival is free for ages 15 and under to attend; designated driver and underage tickets are available.
Sunday is a great day to attend the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival! Chef William Cornelius will face off against Chef Colin Miner, the Queensbury Hotel's Executive Chef at Park 26 in an "Iron Chef"-style culinary competition. Sunday attendees can also get crafty with an hour-long painting session guided by Sip & Canvas and a wine glass candle making session with Wax 'n' Wix. Additionally, Barkeater Chocolates will host two wine and chocolate educational pairing sessions.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks join us as our official festival beneficiary. Their volunteers are on hand helping us run the festival smoothly, including roaming the grounds providing ample bottles of water to keep everyone hydrated, offering festival swag, and running raffles to raise money.
