Introduce yourself to over 80 New York State wineries, craft beverage makers, artisan food vendors, food trucks and more, with the beauty of Lake George as your backdrop. 2019 brings the 5th annual Adirondack Wine & Food Festival in Lake George, showcasing some of the best wineries, breweries, distilleries, artisan food vendors, crafts, and food trucks the region has to offer.
New York State craft wines and beverages are the centerpiece of the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival. Some of the fine businesses on hand at the festival include Adirondack Winery, the Lake George Distilling Company, Springbrook Hollow Farm Distillery, Adirondack Brewery, the Lake George Brew House, and Mean Max Brew Works, and many, many more.
The tastings don't stop at wine, liquor, and beer. Sample chocolate, cheese, maple products, ice cream, hot sauce, slushies, jerky, olive oil, mustard, rubs, fudge, cookies, crackers, and more.
What to Expect:
Samples & Tastings: You’ll receive a commemorative wine glass to be used throughout the event to sample craft beverages! As a designated NY Farmer’s Market, the Festival offers the perfect opportunity to try before you buy. Each of our craft beverage and artisan food makers will offer complimentary samples of their products, farmer’s market style! So whether it’s your new-found favorite bottle of chardonnay, cheddar cheese, or chocolate fudge, each vendor will have their products available for you to purchase and take home with you -- made even easier if you utilize our popular Purchase Drop-Off/Pick-Up service!
Cooking Demonstrations: For four years in a row, Chef Matt Bolton and the students of the SUNY Adirondack Culinary Arts Program were at the Festival showing off their skills and offering cooking demonstrations for attendees all weekend long under the culinary tent. Stay tuned to see if they join us again in 2019!
Cocktail Demonstrations: In 2018 we added a cocktail demonstration schedule under the culinary tent, with local bartenders mixing new concoctions from wines and liquors available for purchase at the festival! This exciting new addition to the festival was sponsored by the Lake George Bar Crawl and Bolton Boat Tours!
We are a Family Friendly Event!
Since Lake George is well-known as a family vacation destination, children and families are welcome to attend the Festival (kids 15 and under are FREE. Designated driver and underage tickets are available). A Kids Activity Tent will be available to enjoy on-site, plus there’s a state-of-the-art Natural Playground and a new skateboard park located just outside the festival grounds!
New in 2018, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks joined us as our official festival beneficiary! Their volunteers were on hand making sure the festival ran smoothly, including roaming the space providing ample bottles of water to keep everyone hydrated, thanks to our official water sponsor, Lake George Premium Brand!
We hope you'll visit us in 2019 and again in 2020 ~ Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th.
