Town of Johnsburg Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day with the Town of Johnsburg!
The celebration begins with the parade stepping off at 1:00 pm from the North Creek Firehouse! The parade will then head down Main Street and end atย North Creek Ski Bowl,ย where the fun continues 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm. At the Ski Bowl there will be music from live bands and tunes spun by One Smooth DJ, food vendors, face painting, children’s activities, and more!
Fireworks begin at dusk!
The celebration will be held rain or shine.
Food vendors:ย
- Dizzy Chicken BBQ – smoked chicken, pulled pork, and delicious sides
- Johnsburg Jr Outdoor Club – hotdogs, hamburgers, nachos, snacks, and drinks
- Minerva Class of 2024 – cotton candy, popcorn, and drinks
Vendors, raffles, and organizations:
- Local artisans, selling signs, tee shirts, and other handmade items
- Informational booths by Friends of Johnsburg Town Parks, ORDA, and Johnsburg Republican Committee
- Raffles by The North Country Hardship Fund and Johnsburg Jr. Outdoor Club

- 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Exhibition Game on McCardle Field (Johnsburg Youth Baseball & Softball)
- 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Adirondack Mountain Bluegrass Band
- 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Kayak Demos at Grunblatt Memorial Beach
- 3:00 pm – 8:30 pm: Face Painting by Kate Hartley & Lainey Freebern
- 3:15 pm – 4:45 pm: Tyler Lemieux – solo guitarist
- 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm: Children’s Crafts (Tannery Pond Center)
- 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm: FREE Pony Rides by Adirondack Dreamcatcher Farm
- 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Reptile Adventure Live Reptiles Exhibit & Tortoise Pen
