Lake George Land Conservancy Hike-A-Thon

July 5

Check back for details in 2024!

Group hike the Lake George Land Conservancy’s beautiful trails at the 12th Annual Hike-A-Thon!

Registration opens March 4, 2024.

Lake George Land Conservancy’s Hike-A-Thon showcases their parks and preserves by holding large group hikes and paddles on the same day every summer. If you are not in the area, you can participate virtually!

Hikes take place simultaneously around Lake George, finishing with an aerial photo of each hiking group by helicopter! This event is free, but donations are gratefully accepted as it is used to run the event and help with maintenance and enhancement of the properties.

After your hike, or paddle, regroup at the After-Party located at the Bolton Community Center! From 11:30am-2:30pm you can enjoy refreshments and activities with your fellow hikers. Hike-A-Thon volunteers, participants and their family and friends are welcome to join in the fun! Adirondack Pub & Brewery will provide beer and soda, and there’ll be live music from the High Peaks Bluegrass Band.

22 sites are planned for this year, including a drive and a paddle! Options are available for almost all ability levels:

LGLC is steward to many gorgeous trails and properties in the southern Adirondacks. They work tirelessly to promote and preserve their parks and trails, which are free public resources. They also encourage healthy, active lifestyles and appreciation for the outdoors.
