Celebrate the autumn season at the Gore Mountain Harvest Fest!
The annual Gore Mountain Harvest Fest is a free celebration of everything fall has to offer at Gore Mountain! This two-day festival features gorgeous fall foliage, premier Adirondack artisans, autumn-themed food and drinks, recreation and activities for the entire family – field games, fall crafts, live music and much more.
Many Adirondack artists and artisans will be exhibiting their handcrafted items. Some of these items include furniture from reclaimed wood, upcycled book origami, paintings, New York made wines & spirits, all-natural bath & beauty essentials, Adirondack decor, hand-painted fabrics, knit scarves, handmade jewelry and pottery, photography, and others.
Live music will rock the Gore Mountain Harvest Fest throughout the weekend. Musicians performing at the Harvest Festival include Josh Clevenstineand Southbound Renegade on Saturday, and Mitch Frasier and Warden & Co. on Sunday. The Wildlife Institute of Eastern NY will present “Silent Wings,” a live educational birds of prey program featuring several raptors. The Dancing Witches (on Saturday) will perform at 12:30pm in the Base Area putting a snow spell over the mountain for a wonderful snowy season ahead
It’s not a harvest festival without delicious food! The hearty fall menus at Open Pit Grille and Base Lodge Food Court celebrate the bounty of autumn.
Hikers, mountain bikers, and riders on the Northwoods Gondola will find unparalleled leaf-peeping opportunities, as the thick forests of Gore Mountain are colored for autumn. Bring your camera because the photo ops are amazing! (Last ride up is at 3:45pm)
