Friday, February 24 – Carmen Lagala

  • The kind of comic you’d have a wild late-night conversation with, Carmen’s darkly frolicsome humor leaves no topic off-limits. Carmen is a formerly shy small-town collegiate hall of fame athlete who has spent the last 8 of her 11 years performing in New York City. You may have seen her doing clean material on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, on Comedy Central, or being absolutely filthy at New York Comedy Club.

Friday, March 31 – Adam Mamawala

  • Adam Mamawala is a stand-up comedian, actor and podcaster based out of New York City. He has appeared on Comedy Central, MTV, BET, and SiriusXM, and both of his albums, Statistically More Relatable (2022) and One of the Good Ones (2017) debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts. Adam has been a freelance contributor to Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update and Someecards and currently co-hosts podcasts Away Games and HORSE, as recently featured in the New York Times!

He has also appeared on podcasts like WTF with Marc Maron, The Adam Carolla Show, The Nerdist, and then roughly 78 other ones besides those. Dave is also an author, his third book, “Parking The Moose,” published by Doubleday, came out in October and he writes articles for lots of really cool magazines and stuff.

Friday, May 26 – Jim Tews

  • Jim Tews was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He joined the U.S. Coast Guard after high school and was stationed in Cleveland where he started stand-up comedy. After completing his enlistment and going to college, he moved to New York City to work as a comedian and writer. When the pandemic hit, while stuck inside, Jim taught himself to animate. He currently works as an independent animator and writer and is again regularly leaving the house to perform standup. Jim has performed all over the U.S., and even in a few foreign countries. He’s been a part of several notable comedy festivals including San Francisco Sketchfest and Just For Laughs Montreal. His two live albums debuted in the top three comedy titles on the iTunes charts, and both receive regular play on satellite radio. He’s appeared on NBC, FX, and more. He continues to perform mostly in New York but is willing to travel to whatever other cities, states, or countries will have him. In addition to his critically acclaimed standup comedy albums, his book, “Felines of New York,” became a New York Times Bestseller.
