Summer Concerts from Lake George Arts Project, Wednesdays
There are sweet sounds every day of the week, but Wednesdays are that much sweeter as the Lake George Arts Project Summer Concert Series sounds off. Polka Punk anyone? The concerts offer a variety of music that runs from rollicking and electric, to Blues, Americana and Celtic Jazz all with supporting visuals from the blue waters of Lake George.
Lake George Community Band Concerts, Thursdays
Is there anything more quintessentially summer than band music and fireworks? Try a Thursday night in Lake George as the Lake George Community Band plays at 8 pm and fireworks kick off right after over the lake around 9:30. Dare you not to ooh and ah!
Fridays at the Lake
Fridays are special whether you are on vacation or working the daily grind. A surefire way to kick the weekend off right is with Fridays at the Lake Bands and Brews Concert Series. Fridays from 4 pm-8 pm in July and August are an extravaganza of live music that will definitely have you on your feet and wine, beer, and food vendors who will entice you to take a seat.
Festival Commons, Lake George
Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George is located between Lake George Village and Million Dollar Beach, making it a perfect destination within walking distance of both places. The Festival Space brings in well-known musical acts and festivals and the park also features a brand new skate park, a children’s adventure playground, and an environmental interpretive area.
Music in the Park, Tuesdays
Nestled in the mountains, Stony Creek is a peaceful spot to take in live music. The park has a basketball court, softball field, playgrounds, picnic tables, and grills so it’s the perfect opportunity to bring family and friends for a cookout and great live tunes.
Music at the Bandstand, Wednesdays
Rockabilly, bluegrass and more at the Floyd Bennett Memorial Bandstand Wednesdays in the summer. The historical bandstand, which was built in 1929, sits right in the town of Warrensburg. Grab a burger and pint at George Henry’s beforehand and make a night of it!
Music at the Beach, Wednesdays
Enjoy live music and stunning lake and mountain views at Music at the Beach kicking off at 7 pm on Wednesdays. The Hague Town Beach is located just off Lake Shore Drive towards the Northern end of Lake George. If you’re camping at Rogers Rock, definitely check it out!
Bolton Recreation Department Free Concerts, Select Tuesdays
Follow a day at the beach with a free concert on Tuesday nights right on the lake in peaceful and beautiful Bolton Landing. Its great location, which offers up gorgeous lake views and proximity to Bolton Landing, makes it easy to grab a bite to eat or a drink before or after the concerts. Basketball courts, docks, picnic tables, grills, a playground, and pavilion are also available at the park.
Monday Night Concerts in the Park, Mondays
The music kicks off at 7 pm in the beautiful town of Thurman. The lineups feature everything from Surf and Beach music to Bluegrass so there is sure to be a concert for every musical taste. Bring a blanket or chair!

Love music and food? Check out the Smoke Eater’s Jamboree in Warrensburg. You can try your own voice with Karaoke on Friday night and dance along to the Audio Stars on Saturday!
Stony Creek Mountain Days Festival, Green Meadows Park
Head to Stony Creek for live music, dancing and fun for the entire family. Multiple bands take the stage and off-stage you can find a Viking Encampment, local and regional vendors and the New York State Lumberjack Competition.
