Lake George Winter CarnivalWild Winter Fun
This weekend welcomes all Law Enforcement Officers, active and retired, and their families from across the nation and Canada and features a Memorial Service honoring all Law Enforcement Officers. The weekend was developed by Officer Austin Glickman while a student in the New York City Police Academy.
Respite ~ Camaraderie ~ Family - designed for participants to relax, unwind and meet fellow Law Enforcement Officers.
The Welcoming Ceremony will take place in Shepard Park on Canada Street on Friday at 6:30pm. Features a concert, food wagons, beverage tent and raffles.
There will be seminars, social hours, and family activities which will include luncheon boat cruise and also a dinner boat cruise, paintball for ages 10 and older, discount admission to Six Flags Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom, Wild West Ranch and Eagle Flyer Zipline; Lake George Lanes and Games. A band concert, shopping at the outlets and much more ~ the Finest 5k Memorial Run/Walk.
Also sign-up for a game of golf, a shooting competition.
And of course FIREWORKS!

10am ~ Chief Frederick Mills will present the program School Safety: Combating School Violence and Active Shooters; seminar #4.
11am ~ Detective Ray McPartland will address Homegrown Violent Extremism, the Terrorist Network and Operational Funding; seminar #5.
11am ~ Detective Eric Potts, Ret, Certified Prevention Counselor presents Recognizing Stress and Preventing Suicide Within the Law Enforcement Family; seminar #6.
Saturday, June 16th
1pm ~ the Shooting Competition will be held and Golf group #2 takes place.
3pm ~ Paintball ~ can you think of anything FUNNER THAN GETTING SHOT WITH HIGH VELOCITY PLASTIC BALLS FULL OF PAINT? For ages 10 and older.
5pm ~ Police K9 demonstration.
7:30pm ~ Comedy Show at King Neptune's Pub, Kurosaka Lane for adults only.
9:45pm ~ Fireworks!
Sunday, June 17th
8am ~ the Finest 5k Memorial Walk/Run - join us as we walk and run in remembrance for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
10:30am ~ Memorial Service will take place in Shepard Park ~ Never Forget.
11:30am ~ Awards Ceremony - all which are well-deserved - we Thank You.
