Downtown Glens Falls invites shoppers to explore the city between Small Business Saturday and the end of the holiday season.
Hometown Holidays begins in downtown Glens Falls on Friday, December 1st. The annual tree lighting will be held in City Park from 5pm until 8pm. After the lighting, Santa will be at Glens Falls National Bank, eager to listen to the holiday wishes of all of the children in attendance.

Saturday, December 2nd brings even more festive fun to downtown Glens Falls:

- A family concert at the Hyde Collection, featuring the Glens Falls Symphony Children's Choir, and SUNY Adirondack's Mountainaires, beginning at 2pm
- A scavenger hunt at the Shirt Factory from 3pm-5pm
- A craft beverage tasting at 14 Hudson Street at 3:30pm
The Glens Falls Farmer's Market is hosting more than 20 local vendors from the Lake George Area and beyond. They will be open from 9am until noon on Saturday, November 25th.
Stop by Fountain Square Outfitters anytime after 11am on Small Business Saturday to pick up your map of downtown. The map lists the shops to browse and the deals to find on Small Business Saturday. Some shops will even be offering free samples of local beer! After the shops close down, head to Mean Max Brew Works for the after party, starring the People Food Trio!
The Shirt Factory will be open from 10am to 5pm from Friday, November 24th through Sunday, November 26th. Those who want to begin their holiday shopping will find many studios in the building open. The Shirt Factory offers a variety of products -- don't be afraid to finish your entire shopping list!
The Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB is offering a Holiday Passport promotion beginning on Small Business Saturday, November 25th, and ending on Sunday, December 10th. People can pick up their passports at the Chamber of Commerce office, at Lite Up the Village on November 25th at Shepard Park, or print it at home.
Businesses offering the Holiday Passport include restaurants, retailers, the library, and a bowling alley. These businesses are located in towns all over the Lake George Area, from Warrensburg to Lake George and beyond. The businesses celebrating the Holiday Passport offer discounts on food, unique gifts, and fun activities to break up shopping trips.
Once a shopper receives a stamp or signature from five of the locations celebrating the Holiday Passport, they can bring their completed form to the Chamber of Commerce to be eligible to win a prize. Some of the prizes include:

The Town of Lake Luzerne opens its doors on Small Business Saturday with boutique shopping at many stores including the Lamplight Inn, Stone's Pharmacy, the Adirondack Folk School and Some Favorite Things Gallery.
The Adirondack Folk School in Lake Luzerne is hosting their Gifting the Adirondacks event on Saturday, December 2nd from 10am until 3pm. Locals and visitors alike are invited to shop for some unique, truly Adirondack items made by the Adirondack Folk School's instructors and other local artisans. There will be refreshments, decorations, plenty of good cheer, and gorgeous gifts to buy!
North Warren Region

Businesses around the North Warren region of the Lake George Area will be open and celebrating Small Business Saturday. Travel around Chestertown, Brant Lake, Adirondack, and Pottersville, searching for deals, and enjoying lunch or dinner at the area's businesses. Shoppers can find deals on fine outdoor gear, clothing for children and adults, artwork, jewelry and accessories, books, tools, local food baskets, and much more. Many of these locations will be offering can't miss deals through the end of the holiday season!
On December 9th, most shops in the North Warren region will host open houses, offering free snacks, samples, and door prizes.

Thurman is holding their annual Thurman Country Christmas Bazaar on Small Business Saturday at the Thurman Town Hall from 9am to 3pm. Admission is free!
The Thurman Country Christmas Bazaar will feature handcrafted country goods created by local artisans. Some of the goods for sale include homemade soaps and wax candles, delicious baked goods, custom jewelry and wood products, hand carved and painted birds, maple products, hand-crocheted items, holiday-themed sewn and knitted items, and artwork.
The Thurman Town Hall is located at 311 Athol Road, Athol.
Warrensburg will be hosting a Buy Local celebration on Saturday, November 25th. Shops around town will be offering outstanding deals throughout the day.
The 29th annual Christmas in Warrensburgh celebration, entitled Peace on Earth will be held on December 1st-3rd throughout town. Holiday festivities include church bazaars and cookie walks, pancake breakfasts, quiche, soup, and sandwich luncheons, a mini festival of trees, Santa and live reindeer, a living nativity, children's crafts and activities, pony and horse-drawn carriage rides, a Museum of Local History holiday exhibit, a tree lighting ceremony, dramatic and musical performances, breakfast with santa, and more!
The 12th annual Holiday Craft Fair, part of the Christmas in Warrensburg event, will be held on Sunday, December 3rd at the Warrensburg Elementary School from 10am to 3pm. This local event will include exclusively handmade crafts, pottery, jewelry, gourmet chocolates, photography, children's toys, and more.
