Lake George Area Weekend To Do

It’s a HUGE weekend in the Lake George Area.  The Lake George Winter Carnival is opening with a packed weekend of events!  Plus three ice bars, a fire bar, skiing and snowboarding, a giant booksale, polar run and even an Olympic themed fundraiser.  We dare you to be bored this weekend!

Just in time for Winter Carnival, Neptune’s, in the middle of the Lake George Village, is opening their ice lounge.  Overlooking Lake George, the lounge is the perfect spot to stop for a drink and some live music.

For advanced skiers and riders, age 18+.  This clinic pushes the limits of even the most experienced downhill pros.  Learn to ride through the trees and discover the 27 glades Gore has to offer.  Price includes lift tickets, video analysis, personal feedback, discussions, breakfast, lunch and a Saturday afternoon party!

Winterfest at Erlowest

Come out and experience Lake George from the Erlowest fire place patio, courtyard and terrace while enjoying fire bars, signature cocktails, s’more station and delicious food prepared by Executive Chef Adam Padilla.  Local restaurants will offer beverage and food samples in the Erlowest Ballroom while live music plays.  A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Lake George Region for Women in Need local charity. Come warm up at Erlowest this winter season while giving back to those in need.


Planetarium Show at Up Yonda Farm

Come learn about the winter sky in our planetarium.  You will learn how to identify some of the major constellations and stars, while hearing Native American and Greek stories of how they were created.  This is a great indoor activity for a cold winters day.  It’s fun for kids and adults!


Polar Cap Run


Saturday, February 4 at 10:00am
Westbrook Road in Lake George Village

Run four miles through streets of Lake George Village. Come have some winter fun and run for Northern Haiti Sustainability Initiative and Sacred Heart Food Pantry of Lake George. Please bring non-perishable food items for the Sacred Heart Food Pantry of Lake George.

Join ATF for a fun evening of food, fun, herculean feats, special treats, silent and live auction, and prizes. The evening features a performance by ATF alum Brian Charles Rooney, star of The UnCivil War (Mary Todd Lincoln). Entrants to the arena will also be the first to learn about the ATF 2017 Season. This is ALWAYS a fun evening and should not be missed.


Pink in the Rink Night with Adirondack Thunder Hockey vs. Reading Royals

Hockey fun for a great cause. The Adirondack Thunder players will be wearing special themed jerseys and these will be auctioned after the game to benefit the Charles R Wood Cancer Center. Hometown Hockey team the Adirondack Thunder are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL Calgary Flames.
