The Great Escape holds The North Country’s largest and most terrifying Halloween celebration - Fright Fest! During the month of October, the park is completely transformed into a frightfully fun Halloween festival featuring zombies, monsters, and other petrifying scares around every corner.

By day, families can enjoy favorites like the Trick-or-Treat Trail, or Medusa’s Survival Challenge. Little monsters should get their best screams and creative costumes ready for the Scream and Costume Contests for the chance to win awesome prizes. Families can get in the Halloween spirit with the all-new family-friendly Monster Mash show located in Carousel Plaza. At the Monster Mash families can dance beside iconic Halloween characters like Dracula, Frank n’ Stein, Jack the Werewolf and more to classic Halloween hits.

After 5 p.m., the mischievous monsters and gruesome ghouls will show no mercy. The Great Escape’s Fright Fest line-up includes four free haunted houses, four scare zones, and the all-new show, Zambora, located in Ghost Town. This interactive show will have you hanging off the edge of your seat as the wonder that is Zambora is revealed. Found deep in the amazon, Zambora displayed tremendous powers, including transforming herself in to a gruesome gorilla. Beware! This beast will not be captive for long. Scream-seekers will also die for shows like The Awakening and Dead Man’s Party.
